Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 September 2026

This policy explains what personal information Printiger collects when you use our website to configure, order, and track custom labels, stickers, and branded packaging, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.

1. Who we are

Printiger is a custom printing service operated by MEDIA CRAFTERS, a business registered in India (“Printiger”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). We are the data fiduciary responsible for the personal data processed through this website. Our contact details are at the end of this policy.

This policy applies to our website and the ordering, payment, and account features on it. It does not apply to third-party websites or services we link to, which have their own privacy policies.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account and identity: your mobile phone number, which is used to create your account and to send you a one-time password (OTP) to sign in, and the name you provide.
  • Order and delivery details: delivery addresses, recipient names, delivery phone numbers, delivery instructions, and any notes you add to an order or enquiry.
  • Artwork and design files: the images, logos, artwork, and reference files you upload for us to print or to help with a design.
  • Communications: messages you send us through the site, WhatsApp, phone, or email, including clarification requests and support conversations.

Information we collect automatically

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and actions taken on the site, collected through server logs and, where used, privacy-respecting analytics.
  • Local storage: your in-progress calculator configuration and interface preferences may be stored in your browser so you do not lose your work if you navigate away or sign in. This stays on your device.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Cashfree Payments, our payment gateway. You enter your UPI or other payment details directly with Cashfree — we do not collect, see, or store your card numbers, UPI PIN, bank credentials, or CVV. From Cashfree we receive the payment status, a payment/transaction reference, the amount, the method used, and the timestamp, so we can confirm your order. Cashfree processes your payment data under its own privacy policy.

3. How we use your information

  • To create your account and sign you in securely using phone-number OTP verification.
  • To calculate prices, take your order, confirm payment, and manufacture and deliver your order.
  • To generate GST-compliant invoices and payment acknowledgements.
  • To send you service communications about your order — order confirmation, payment confirmation, clarification requests, production and dispatch updates — by in-app notification, WhatsApp, or SMS.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your requests and grievances.
  • To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • To meet legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
  • To maintain and improve the website, our products, and our service quality.

We rely on your consent, the performance of our contract with you (fulfilling your order), our legitimate interests in running the business securely, and compliance with law as the bases for this processing. You can withdraw consent for non-essential processing at any time (see section 8).

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described here:

  • Payment processing: Cashfree Payments, to process payments, confirm transactions, and handle refunds.
  • Platform and infrastructure: Supabase, which hosts our authentication, database, and file storage; and our website hosting and content-delivery provider.
  • Messaging: our WhatsApp Business and SMS providers, to deliver order and account notifications.
  • Delivery: courier and logistics partners, who receive the recipient name, address, and phone number needed to deliver your order.
  • Professional advisers: accountants, auditors, and lawyers, where reasonably required.
  • Legal and safety: authorities, regulators, or other parties where required by law or legal process, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
  • Business transfers: a successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or reorganisation, subject to this policy.

Our service providers are permitted to use your information only to provide services to us and under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.

5. Where your information is stored

Some of our service providers (including Supabase and Cashfree) may store or process data on infrastructure located outside India. Where personal data is transferred outside India, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this policy and applicable law.

6. How long we keep it

  • Account information is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards.
  • Order, invoice, and payment records are retained for as long as required to meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations (generally up to 8 years).
  • Artwork files are kept in full while your order is being produced and for up to 30 days after delivery, then the original file is deleted (we pause this if you have an open complaint or replacement request, until it's resolved). We keep a small low-resolution reference thumbnail of it, marked "preview only" and never used for printing, along with your order details, permanently, so your order history stays intact even though the full-size original does not. Each order's artwork is only ever used for that order — we do not reuse or carry artwork over between orders.
  • Support communications are kept for up to 1 year for quality and dispute purposes.

7. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, row-level database security, and other technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a personal-data breach that is likely to cause you significant harm, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

8. Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, you can:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you and request a copy.
  • Ask us to correct or update inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Ask us to delete your information, where we are not required to keep it.
  • Withdraw consent for non-essential processing, such as marketing messages.
  • Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.
  • Complain to us, and to the relevant data-protection authority.

To exercise any of these, contact us using the details at the end of this policy. We may need to verify your identity (for example, by OTP to your registered number) before acting on a request. Deleting your account does not remove records we must retain for legal or tax reasons.

9. Marketing communications

We send transactional messages about your orders and account by default because they are necessary to provide the service. We will only send promotional messages if you have opted in, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP, using an unsubscribe link, or contacting us.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and browser storage that are necessary for the site to function — keeping you signed in, remembering your in-progress configuration, and keeping the site secure. Where we use optional analytics or preference cookies, we will ask for your consent where required. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may break parts of the site.

11. Children

Our website and services are intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new “last updated” date, and, for significant changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
